It's All About Her

Bringing people together to support physical, mental, emotional health for women.

My being in awe of the courage and strength shown by women in times of the stress and mental strain of dealing with breast cancer has not changed since my wanting to do the first “It’s All About Her”. To bring the issue of “awareness” and “support” against this disease is the main motivation for this event.
The support of local businesses and the general public that attend this event as well as working alongside breast cancer survivors at this event has made it very easy to do it all again this November 20. Please join us in the third “It’s All About Her” to show your support for the work and efforts of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (Atlantic division) and at the same time be entertained by a world class performer, Irish Mythen

The 2016 version of “It’s All About Her” is dedicated to the memory of one our courageous supporters Jody (Cook) LeFave (1976-2016)

Irish Mythen returns to “It’s All About Her” for the third time. This short little package of energy can electrify a room in seconds with her passion and charismatic personality. Never scared to voice her opinion or share her thoughts in both her musical lyrics and her adventurous stories. Irish exploded on to the folk music scene in 2006 at the Stan Rogers festival in Canso and has been on the main stage at most Maritime and Ontario festivals ever since. Just recently Irish won the “Socan” 2016 songwriter of the year award for her song “Gypsy Dancer” This year I made a decision that I wanted those in attendance to experience all of Irish Mythen. So I have booked her as the lone performer for a full 2 hours. Irish will be fresh back in Canada from her second trip in the last year to Australia. A total of 5 months down under. Mixing a little Aussie in with her Irish background can only lead to some interesting music and tall tales. When she’s not been below the equator she has been touring nonstop across Ontario, Quebec and the USA. We will be so lucky as this will be only her second show in Nova Scotia this year. Irish lives and spends what little free time she has in PEI but her close ties to Bridgewater will make her feel like she is finally back home again. Come and join us support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and be entertained by a world class performer at the same time.

Get ready Bridgewater, she might be a little wound up.
